Sheffield donates workshop tooling to local industrial heritage centres

The Open Access Mechanical Workshop team has donated surplus tooling to two local heritage sites: Wortley Top Forge and the Midland Railway at Butterley. These organisations both play a vital role in preserving Sheffield’s local engineering history.

Sharing expertise in India

At the start of this year Professor Siddharth Patwardhan visited industry and higher education establishments in India. These visits were an opportunity to share expertise and establish relationships to pave the way for possible future collaboration.

The Tell US survey is an important way to find out from students what they think about the learning and teaching on their modules. This year, our School had the highest overall response rate in the Faculty of Engineering.
