Who's here to support you?

Lifelong learning students can access support from all of the below who are all supported by the central Student Support Services:

  • Academic Tutors
  • Programme Directors in the School of Education
  • The School of Education office, including the Disability Liaison Officer
  • Student Experience Lead
  • Your module teaching staff

Some of the areas of support we are able to assist you with include:

  • Meeting deadlines, extension requests and managing unforeseen circumstances
  • Referral to University support
  • Planning workload
  • Sickness, absence and taking time out
  • Disability support
  • Referrals to sources of financial advice
  • Understanding results
