A class reunion for alumni celebrating 50, 60 and 65 years since graduating from the University of Sheffield. To celebrate your special anniversary, you are invited to a reunion lunch in September in Firth Hall, as well as having the option to take a guided tour of the campus after lunch. 

During lunch, you’ll hear about two exciting projects that are making an impact in very different ways:

• From Student Volunteer to Strategic Changemaker

Hear from 2nd year economics student Marissa Law as she shares her experience with hands-on community projects through . Learn how local collaboration, fresh student perspectives, and a shared drive for social good are turning everyday action into lasting, real-world impact for social enterprises across our region.

• BRIDGES for Dementia: Rethinking how technology can help people with dementia live independent lives

Join Senior Research Fellow Dr Jennifer MacRitchie as she details how the is shifting the research paradigm and helping people live well post-diagnosis. This talk will explore how we are connecting people with dementia and researchers together so that technology doesn't pre-define what a person can or cannot do.
