- Profile
-
I am a Statistician in Health Technology Assessment (HTA) in the Health Economics and Decision Science (HEDS) section within SCHARR. My research interests include structured expert elicitation, survival analysis, indirect treatment comparisons, evidence synthesis, and the application of robust statistical methods to support healthcare decision making. I work across disciplines with statisticians, health economists, clinicians, and other researchers to develop quantitative methods that inform health technology evaluation and policy. I am also a member of SCHARR-TAG, an External Assessment Group that provides independent evidence assessments to support National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) technology appraisals.
Before joining HEDS in 2023, I worked as a Research Associate in Applied Mathematics at the University of Manchester and completed a Wellcome Trust-funded PhD in Quantitative and Biophysical Biology. My previous research focused on Bayesian methods, mathematical modelling, and quantitative analysis across biological applications including preimplantation mammalian development.
