Exemplary HRC setting

Planning

The aim of the Planning work package is the analysis, design, synthesis, and assurance of safety controllers for use in human-robot collaboration (HRC) settings in the manufacturing domain.

Sensing

Sensing and Decision Making

The emergence of ‘collaborative robots’ promises to transform the manufacturing sector, enabling humans and robots to work together in shared spaces and physically interact to maximise the benefits of both manual and robotic processes.

Security

Security

Threat modelling is the process of finding security threats for a given system, achieved with the use of abstractions.

Digital Twinning Environment

The digital twin (DT) environment, based in Unity3D takes advantage of a commercial game engine to produce a high fidelity platform for the digital representation of real-world industrial processes.

Safety analysis

Safety Analysis and Testing

Cooperative robots aim to allow human operators and robot workers to share the same work-space, and work jointly to achieve a common goal.
