- Profile

I am an aerospace engineer by training, but since I left the industry, I cultivated my interest in the broad area of control theory and complex systems. My current research aims at understanding complex dynamics at the interface between social and technical systems. These include the use of public services such as transportation or water systems, and how these impact demographics and the resilience of both the infrastructure and the community they serve. My research interests include socio-technical systems and game theory, network theory, control theory, consensus, and complexity.

Projects
I look with interest at projects where individual decision-making can be modelled and enter complex system modelling. This usually converges to some modeling involving dynamic networks. My approach is quantitative, analytic, and benchmarked with data. Every project aims at producing a better understanding of the dynamics hidden in the complex phenomena we experience every day.
