What is Coach Cafe?
Coach Cafe is a series of online events designed to support your career journey. This special session provides an opportunity to connect directly with Chinese Alumni Coaches working across various industries in China, gain first-hand market insights, and get your career questions answered.
At this event, you will meet both recent returning graduates and industry experts working in key sectors across China. Learn from their experiences, understand the current domestic job market, and discover the wide range of career paths available to you back home.

What’s involved?
- Small group discussions: Engage in group conversations with different Chinese alumni. Hear about their career journeys, transition back to China, and strategies for job-hunting in the Chinese market.
- Q&A & practical advice: Get tailored tips for success - from navigating campus recruitment (辩颈ū锄丑ā辞 / 肠丑ū苍锄丑ā辞) to adapting to local workplace cultures - and get answers to your questions.
- Informal online networking: Finish the event with an open networking session where you can interact with all participating alumni and connect with fellow Sheffield students returning to China.
- Expand your network: Build valuable professional relationships and strengthen your lifelong Sheffield alumni network in China.
